Standard AXE League 2025

- Throwing the Estwing Standard Axe
- Scoring is in standard format used by IATF (International Axe Throwing Federation)
- Clutch or Snail Eyes is worth 7 points
- Bullseye is worth 5 points
- Inner ring is worth 3 points
- Outer ring is worth one point
- Scores are tallied per round, and collated over the night to be posted in the FB groups.
- Player with the highest average score over the course of the league wins the trophy.
- High Lane Scoreboards in each venue exclusive for Leaguers and Staff only. ‘27 Club’ Board for a ‘perfect round’ where your name will be embossed on the board for all to see
- 8 weeks of comp throwing held on the Monday night listed below in the timetable
- With week 9 being finals.
- Finals night we have food, mini challenge games with prizes and 3 places for trophies… 1st, 2nd and 3rd. A heap of fun and friendly competition
- $30 per week & practise for free when we are open & available!
Autumn Standard Axe League – Starts 10 February 2025

Starting date is 13 October 2025. Occurs every Monday for 8 weeks with the finals being held on the Monday of the 9th week on 8 December 2025. 6:30pm arrival, 6:45pm practice open & 7pm startMIXED AXE League 2025
- Same three round format as standard league.
- Every round is thrown with a different axe, i.e. big axe, gang axe, or standard estwing.
- The sequence of axes is determined by a random dice throw every round.
- Scoring is reversed for this format.
- Clutch or Snail Eyes are worth -10
- Outer ring is worth 5 points
- Inner ring is worth 3 points
- Bullseye is worth one point.
- Is you miss the scoring rings or drop an axe, that’s 7 points
- So if you call Snail Eyes and miss, that’s potentially a 17 point turn around.
- Player with the lowest score wins.
- Lowest possible score per round is -6 or “6 Below”
- Lowest possible score for the game is -18
- Scores are tallied per round, and collated over the night to be posted in the FB groups.
- Lowest average over the course of the league wins the trophies.
- A “6 Below” is treated like a “27” and embossed on the appropriate board for all to see
- Don’t be surprised to see some big numbers, as drops and misses are quite costly.
